Our love for photography and sports combined this year for a first-ever Photo Fundraiser. Varsity football players and cheerleaders were invited to purchase a Photo CD with at least 30 photos and a collage for $45. Play Action Design donated more than 80% of the fee to The Touchdown Club – the booster club charged with fundraising for the Jim Thorpe Area High School football program.

It was a very successful fundraiser and we’re happy to deliver the results to the parents in the next couple of weeks.

The 9 & 10 Jim Thorpe All-Stars defeated Valley East to take the District 18 title!

I was fortunate to have a son playing on the Jim Thorpe Little League 7 & 8 year-old all-star team this summer. It was a great opportunity for Jacob and the team did very well (15-3 in the post-season). It was also a good opportunity for me to hone my play action photography skills.
